I made a New Week’s Resolution Journal for myself several months into the pandemic as a way to set intentions for the week. With so many unknowns for the year, having a goal for 7 days felt like the right amount of time and space to focus on, and it felt like a gentle guide to get me through the days with self-care and creativity. I originally shared these 7 New Week’s Resolutions on social media, appreciating the interactions and accountability offered by new and old friends online. It’s fascinating how important basic, everyday care was (and still is) to grow roots during an incredibly ungrounding time!
